Tado X Installation Issues (UK)
I’m moving from a Honeywell Evohome system to Tado X. Unfortunately I’m having issues. The installation of the Wireless Receiver, the Thermostat and the 1st 4 radiator valves went fine. Now the next 3 will not pair. It seems that it could be a range issue (but the distance is not far). When pairing I never get the…

Is the geofencing option in schedule timeblocks no longer available?

Anyone know a solution? Logging out and then in did not help for me like for others in other similar posts. In case it is relevant,…

Questions about setting up Tado
Thinking of changing my heating system to Tado and I have a couple of queries... I have a Vaillant EcoTec Pro which I have found out uses Ebus and therefore only V3+ is compatible. Are there any downsides to using V3+ in 2024/2025 and going forward? Another issue I potentially have is that my boiler is located in the…

extend matter over thread functionality of the X thermostatic valve
Great device, and it connects flawlessly with the thread network on my home assistant. So well that I now have fitted them in all the house. Ahead of the competition. There are a few functions I am missing though: I do not get to see the battery level over matter, nor the option for a firmware update (which might be…

Upgrading from V3+ to X issue
Here's hoping you can help with my issue. I'm a long time user (9 years) and have recently used the upgrade offer to change to X. I've purchased the wireless receiver and thermostat kit and 8 trv's. AFAIK the receiver works as a thread border router and so I don't need the bridge X The receiver is wired to the boiler using…

Can anybody confirm what the toggle switch on Hot Water setting in Away mode means? I'm guessing it means if switch is on, the hot water will continue in same settings as Home. If off, hot water set to constantly off. Is this correct?

Does the increased boiler firing/stop cycles prematurely age the boiler?
Hi, Does the increased boiler firing/stop cycles prematurely age the boiler? I believe that a boiler, and it's constituent parts, have an MTBF that cumulatively set an MTBF for the boiler in terms of number of firing cycles (affected by lots of other factors, to be sure) but nevertheless, doesn't the TADO controller…
