Router problem with valves
Hi,i just bought tado x valves with tado x bridge.i bought i tp-link and a simcard. i followed the instructions,i can connect the bridge. When i try to connect the valve,it reports "matters credentials generated" and then "verify the connection to "my ssid". here it hangs for minutes then reports failed to connect.
i tested the same simcard into a smartphone via thetering and it works, the valve connects.i tested another simcard in the router and it DOESN't connect. i bought another router ,a mercurysys..and the same problem..i tested with my fibermodem and it works..so..it seems to me that tado works only with same router configuration or brand…but i cannot spend time and money to test 1000 routers to find a right one. so..anyone has a solution or i have to return all the kit to mr. Tado? thanks (sorry for my english,im from Italy)

Edit: now it works, no thanks to the tado assistance.
my configuration was:
Smart Radiator Thermostat X - Starter Kit
Includes a tado° Bridge X that connects tado° to the internet.
and other 5 Smart Radiator Thermostat XTo provide internet connection i got a a Mercusys TP-Link MB110-4G Router 4G LTE Wireless N300Mbps 4G Sim Modem 4G, Porta LAN/WAN, (first i tryed with TP-Link TL-MR105 Cat4 Router 4G LTE Wireless N300Mbps but i had the same problems)
i don't blame those routers, because it seems that it's the Tado protocol the problem (both routers work very well on any other duty)
The problem was: i CAN connect the bridgex to my network and to internet via wifi, but when i proceed to connect the single Thermostats, after the matter authentication, it hangs during the network connection and then it fails. the result that i cannot remote the valves via app or site.
i did the following steps, i have an idea which was the good one,but i'm not sure.
or maybe just luck :)
1)firmware update
2)google dns 8.8.8.8
3)disabled ipv4 firewall
4)disabled ipv6 firewall (i think this was the problem)
5)disabled every parental control, blacklist etc
i'm aware that disabling the firewall is not a smart move, but i have this router dedicated for tado and not connected to anything else but the bridge (and valves)
now the valves connection to my network finally happens and everything seems to work fine.
hope this can help anyone else with the same problem and i hope,if there is some Tado figure lurking here, they can provide a full explanation of the problem and the solution.
