Tado X Installation Wiring - UK
Hi all - I have a question about UK wiring. I have a system boiler and I’m looking to install the wireless receiver.
Current back plate has 5 wires - live, neutral and earth. Plus a black wire , and a grey wire which control the water/heating.
I can’t find any clear instructions as to where these should be connected on the Tado backplate and whether the purple bridge wires are needed.
I would guess the black wire (in 3) to wire into HW No and the grey wire (in 4) to wire into CH No. Unsure if bridge wires required.
Any advice would be great. Tried to upload a pic but doesn’t appear to be possible.
Many thanks

@tsmith9 Hello. Have you reached out to Tado support when you started the install? They will provide wiring instructions for your programmer and thermostat.
For users to help, they will need to know details of your heating system and what you are replacing. Programmer, thermostat, boiler, S-Plan or Y-Plan (zone valves), UFH etc?
