Tado stopped calling for heat but the boiler continues to fire

Hi all.

I've been having this intermittent issue with tado recently. Sometimes after all of my rooms are at the desired temperature tado stops calling for heat, but the boiler continues to fire and heat the radiators that do not have tado trvs on them. Has anyone encountered this problem before and how to resolve it

    I think I discovered the problem. My 3 port valve was stuck in the on position and wasn't closing after tado called for heat. Hopefully won't need to replace the entire valve

    @Aidan364 Hello. For users to help, can you provide more information about your heating system. Which Tado components do you have installed? Boiler make/model (combi or system), HW tank, S-Plan or Y-Plan or gravity, zone valves, etc? If you have a Tado wireless receiver, which lights are on?

    From the description, my first suspicion would be a sticky or faulty zone valve. They can fail any time from a few weeks to 20 years.
