2 zone CH and hotwater
I was initially advised by the Tado bot that it was possible to install two V3+ wireless starter kits in my home. Following that advice, I installed: 1 bridge 2 wireless receivers 2 wireless thermostats 8 smart TRVs While everything seemed to work fine at first, I’ve noticed that the receiver controlling the hot water and…

Tado App iOS Beta
I’ve noticed the Tado iOS beta app isn’t currently accepting new devices as the TestFlight program is full and has been for a while. Would it be possible to comb through the current beta testing users and remove any that no longer submit feedback or have recent account usage to make room for others? Or maybe implement a…

Multiple radiators in one room
Hi, Some of my rooms have two radiators. They already have dumb TRVs on them and I'm intending to get a limited number of smart TRVs for my house - with the intention of adding more as time goes on. What do you recommend as being the best approach for fitting smart TRVs where there are more than one radiator in a room? Do…

Better support for Underfloor Heating
Hi, I would like to request better software support for underfloor heating systems in the Wired Thermostats when using relay mode. The modulation used by the Tado Wired Thermostates is not beneficial to my system because it tries to turn the UFH on and off repeatably when NOT calling for "full heat" (i.e. when calling for…

Combi boiler single zone CH but adding UFH zone
Hi I decided to add UFH in my kitchen, as such am getting 2 zone valves so kitchen UFH is separate from the rest of the house. Am I right in saying I can wire the 2 valves in a wiring centre next to the boiler, and add a wired tado smart stat there, which links to a wireless temp sensor in the kitchen. My central heating…

Tado° V3 vs. X series compatibility concerns
Hi everyone, I’ve been using the Tado° V3 range (thermostat and smart radiator valves) throughout my house for about 2 years. Recently, one device broke, and when I ordered a replacement, I discovered there's a new X series, which isn’t compatible with my V3 setup. Does this mean that once the V3 devices are discontinued,…

Ability to rename device
When batteries are running low I get an email informing me that a particular device in a specific room has an issue. In some rooms I have 4 radiators. I then have to go round ‘blinking’ the stat multiple and watching all the stats in the room to find which one it is. it would be great to be able to rename or give a…

Enable eBUS support for Tado X Wireless receiver
The V3+ supports both eBUS and Opentherm however the newer product series X does not support eBUS. Please enable also eBUS support for the X series. I imagine since you have the code for V3+ in the firmware it could be refactored over for the X and with a firmware update it could work.

Tado app gets "Heating to" temp wrong and keeps overheating the house
For ages I've had no problem with the Tado system. But for the last few weeks this keeps happening: I set the tado app to heat the house to - for example 19.5c All good - house heats up, but then overheats to - for example 20.5c The tado app registers the "Inside now" temp as 20.5c - correctly Instead of turning the…

Setting TADO X thermostatic head as temperature probe
In the Italian community in a thread I read this: ‘the room has no thermostat but only 2 thermostats ‘B’ and ‘C’ and you create a room ‘room’ with only thermostatic heads ‘B’ and ‘C’ where you set the thermostatic head furthest from the door as the temperature probe’. Can you explain to me how to do this? I have the same…

[Energy IQ] Allow for new meter and continue entering meter readings
When replacing a meter, it becomes hard to continue entering meter readings as one has to add the last old meter reading to the new meter readings (and sometimes even subtract the first new meter reading from that number too). Tado <> Apple Homekit: temporary heating change issues...

Please allow download of chart data for each room. This would be most useful as a CSV file. Tado TRV is hotter than programmed
One of my TRVs is set to heat to 18c, but it is heating well past this to 22c. The temp is on the TRV matches an independent room thermometer, so is accurate. But why is the TRV continuing to call for heat and making the room much hotter than it is set to? Is it a faulty TRV? This is the second time in a month this has…

Vaillant Ecotec Plus (VC 25CS/1-5) via ebus - Heating works but Hot Water does not
Hello Tado Community, I had to replace my boiler and my new one Vaillant Ecotec (VC 25CS/1-5) got connected via ebus properly - heating works as it should (although I will need to find a way to limit max flow temperature for better efficiency but that's a detail). The issue is with Hot Water as boiler seems not to care…
