Does Tado with ebus have a 'learning' phase?
Hello, I was wondering, if using the wired Tado V3 and ebus via the +- connections, will mean that the first few weeks of a new installation be a 'learning' phase for Tado? Meaning, will Tado be logging inside and outside temperatures and timing how long it takes to heat my house in different scenarios, adjusting itself…

I have two brown wires in Terminal 5
I am going through the step by step and have come to the connection phase. In Terminal 5 I have the bridge wire and two brown wires. The bridge wire is no longer needed, the two brown wires have stumped me? It’s says to treat them as the cable in terminal L. Does this mean they all go into L totaling 4 cables ?

Help, no “switched live” on boiler
I don’t appear to have a switched live on my boiler which is quite old Worcester HPJB.19000. Wire to boiler goes to thermostat in boiler, which appears to be removable, then onwards to boiler. How can I overcome this to make the system work with Tado? The wiring diagram specifies switched live so not sure what to do next?

Broken battery bay on wired thermostat weak and poor design plastic
The plastic of the battery bay is cheap and weak and not strong enough to support the pressure of the leaf spring contact that hold the batteries in place - very poor design. Is it going to be hot glue, super glue, wood wedge- you get the idea… a bodge piece of job on nasty bit of kit that is not cheap. Good software, now…
