Tado TRV when boiler on frost protection
Might seem like a daft question but have installed Tado v3 thermostat and TRVs on all radiators in a holiday home, during the winter it’s empty and we always put the central heating (condensing) boiler on frost protection. With the trv in frost protection when the temperature drops below 5 degrees will that turn the boiler on? I don’t want the heating coming on when it’s empty and boiler in frost protection, I have enough inhibitor in the system to protect me to -20 degrees.
Thank you

Hello @AndyMu
Looking at your set-up, since you have a Boiler Programmer, the boiler will indeed turn on once the Smart Radiator thermostats make a 'call' for heat.
The solution: If you disconnect your tado° Boiler Programmer, the Smart Radiator Thermostats will make calls for heat, but nothing will happen.0
