Energy IQ Can't enter historical data
Hi there,
I wish to add historical data from heating bills but Tado won't let me enter any start dates earlier than when I installed Tado. How can I make comparisons if there's no earlier data present.
Is this usual? Any comments will be greatly appreciated. Chris

Same issue, installed Tado X last weekend, no option to enter historical bill or meter reading data. Can only start entering data from the point my Tado system went live.0

Same here. Went through the stages in another post to work out heating oil costs (as per another thread) and can’t input a historical start date0

Hello everyone,
Sorry to read many of you are having the same issue.
The tado° app should indeed allow you to change the date when adding previous consumption data. The usual process is as follows:- Go to Energy IQ > Increase accuracy in the app.
- When adding data from your meter readings or heating bills, you should be able to specify the date.
- If you're adding historical energy tariffs, you should be able to enter the starting date and end date for each tariff.
(The above steps tend to work best if you start from the first of whatever month's data you are inputting: 1st January, 1st February, 1st March etc…).
If you're still unable to change the date, it might be a technical issue. In that case, try these steps:
- Close and reopen the app.
- Check for any app updates in your device's app store.
- If the problem persists, you may need to contact our support team for further assistance.
