Smart Thermostat Touch Buttons issues

I was having all kinds of issues with the touch buttons but now it getting worse. Sometimes they work properly while other times they seem to get stuck, for example when I want to reduce or increase the temperature by pressing once, it seems as if I keep pressing it and it goes to OFF or 25 respectively.
The problem is more intense on older Tado devices. Have you dealt with it? I would not say that the cleaning of the area has any effect.
The thermostats with the most issues are in version 54.20 (probably V1) while my newest ones V3 with 215.2 firmware seems to perform much better.
I tried to find another relevant post but I didn't manage, is it only me?
