Does Nest and Tado work side by side
Hi. I recently had a tado thermostats installed. I have 3 heating zones that are controlled by Nest heat link boxes. 2 control under floor heating, and 1 used to control all of the other radiators in the house (upstairs and downstairs). I decided to get the taco thermostats installed on 6 of the 8 radiators on the understanding that I could control those radiators individually via the tado thermostats and app, and the remaining 2 via the existing Nest setup. After installation it now appears that the Nest thermostat has become redundant and the tado system now controls all of the radiators, even the 2 that don’t have tado thermostats. So when the tado system is on, the 2 radiators not connected to it remain on all the time and the nest thermostat no longer controls them.
Is my plumber correct in saying the other 2 radiators can no longer be controlled by the nest thermostat?

Probably. As with anything, it depends how it was installed. It would be better to get a heating engineer to work out what is best for your system and load.
