Best practise of increase and decrease temrature in a studio apartment in a 24/H cycle

Hi to you all!

I'm a new to all this and have browsed around internet and Tados help center but not found answers to my own questions yet.

I have set my X to a span of 7 Celsius, 15C/nightime/when away and, 22C when home. My question is, is it wise to slowly increase and decrease the temprature rather then just let it drop/rise more "dramatcally? I use auto-save subscription. I live in a 40sqm studio.

My 24 hour cycle is Monday -Friday as follow:

00:00- 7am 15C (I sleep best in a cold room)
07:00-8:30am 22C (leave bed around 7:45-8:15, leave home 9:15am)
8:30-4pm 15C (work hours)
4pm-10pm 22C (normal hours spent home after work)
10pm-00pm 18C (Slowly bed time going, shower etc.)

Thanks in advance for your help and understanding

@Savemesomemoney Hello. Your settings look reasonable as a start point. It will be a learning exercise. For us, in a family home, it took three months to figure out the settings that worked well. Every room is set differently to suit our daily use. The maximum is 20 deg C. We use geofencing a lot. Three years later, we continue to adjust the schedule/settings to suit our diaries.

Saving money, winter months we use circa 65% of 2018-21 energy for heating and hot water. I’d suspect that percentage saving would be difficult to achieve in a 40m2 apartment.

  • Hi and thanks for your answer. Your feedback is very helpful and i will go for this setting i have now and see how it affect my consumtion. I normally don't use any heating at all from mid/end April to mid/end September, sometimes even October depending on weather conditions here in Berlin, Germany. I have a yearly consumtion of average 950 kWh but hope to come under 900 as a start.

Again I wanna thank you for your helpful feedback
