Can you replace Danfoss TPOne-M with the Wired Smart Thermostat X?
Hello! Hoping the community can help me out on this one!
I have a Danfoss TPOne-M installed in my new build, which controls the heating only.
I'm interested in replacing it with the Thermostat X, but I'm struggling to understand whether its ok to replace it as customer agents on the ChatBot take hours to reply and the website wasn't very informative.
This is what I find when I open up my current thermostat - Would there be compatibility issues if I change this into a Tado Wired Thermostat X?

What model of boiler do you have? Does it have zone valves on the central heating side?
This is important because it determines what exactly you need in place.

I don't exactly have a boiler as I have a HIU, does that affect where the cables go?0

Could you contact the HIU provider and ask them of they have documentation about the zone valves which service this home and how they are activated? For example
1. is it a mains driven relay that does the switching, or is it 'No volt' system, or Digital and if the latter, which one?
2. Do they need any specific electrical tests done when you change the programmers and thermostat?
Need that to determine how the replacement bits will be shaped. Let us know.0
