Multizone - UK new build

Hi there,

We have moved in to a new build in the UK and I'm looking for help with setting up tado and if I have the current correct kit.

We currently have 2 wired thermostats which control each zone independently so that one can be one and the other off and I would like the tado to mimic the same (we have a combi boiler and hot water is not controlled through the thermostats, sorry if this was obvious!)

I currently have a wireless starter kit, an additional wired thermostat and TRV's already on all radiators except 2, where the thermostats are.

I appreciate people wouldn't know the wiring, but with standard wiring would it be possible to use the wireless receiver to control downstairs with the wireless thermostat and then use the wired one upstairs, with that wired in to control upstairs.

@mcrbrt Welcome. Yes, that sounds quite normal. The one potential issue is that the wireless receiver will need Live and Neutral to power it. Usually, the wireless receiver replaces the existing programmer; and you'll bridge the downstairs room stat wires with a wago connector from the wireless starter kit.
