Hello @irsaramanuel
I see you've spoken to our support agents in the past. As they have explained, your system is not straight-forwardly compatible with our products. They have suggested some solutions, which you can feel free to chat with them about further.0

Hello Tado Team

Technically it should work with Opentherm. Have you emailed Tado sales and asked them for an implementation plan, with you fully describing your home, zones, etc - asking them for a full migration plan?
They have an incentive to answer your questions - turnover. If they state that you should write it in relay mode come back here and we could help escalating it.1 -
Hello Emcee, thank you for your response. I have been trying to get a definitive answer from support but that appears quite difficult, particularly since all requests have to be via email, which takes a long time to progress rather than a phone call discussion to find a solution.
I had no response on my ATAG compatibility request to date, since Viessmann Vitodens 100-W compatibility has been vague or contraddicting (one Tado advisor suggested it will work with Tado X, while another advisor said it might not). You'll appreciate this is challenging when you try to find a working solution for a new boiler installation.

Hi Policywonk
thanks for your comment. Yes i've been emailing Tado many many times with various types of feedback (works via opentherm, works only via relay, works with error, we're not sure you need to tyr etc). Eventually i was connected with Jurian who was able to answer all queries and set up the system.
As summary: Opentherm with Viessmann Vitodens 100-W B1KF and 6 Tado Receivers seems to work, albeit Viessmann app produces E 95 error (Communication error, Opentherm) regularly, which then gets automatically cleared approx. 2-3min later.

Hi. Have just completed another thread where it seems that it is possible for Viessmann to change the boiler's settings so that the boiler overrides's Tado's hot water instruction, and puts the hot water channel in ECO mode. That seemed to fix the problem.
Would you call Viessmann and see if thats something they can arrange with you?
