Tado X accessories and Google Nest Hub - 2nd gen.
So I bought Tado X smart radiator thermostats and since I have 2nd generation Google Nest Hub, I thought that I don’t need Tado X Bridge to connect these to my thread network. Google Nest works as border thread router. But it didn’t work for Tado so I had to buy the bridges. Is this expected? I thought thread and matter were created to address the compatibility between different brands…

Hello @Micha1
You shouldn't have to buy an Internet Bridge, no.
Is your Google Hub already Matter enabled? If so, please have a read through this article.
In the tado° app:- Open the tado° app.
- Select Settings > Rooms and devices and select the device that you want to add.
- Scroll down and select Device linking.
- On Android, select the Google Home icon and follow the pop-up instructions to link your device.
- Repeat for each device.
Alternatively, you can add a tado° X device to your Google Home from the Google Home app. Note that this method only applies to brand new devices (not yet added to the tado° app), or devices that have just undergone a Factory Reset. Otherwise, link your device as described above.
If none of the above work, you can contact support via our live chat.1

Thank you, I actually tried and managed to connect wireless temperature sensor but it didn’t work with the radiator thermostats. One thing I noticed when connecting some other smart accessories the thread network is sometimes very unstable… Anyway thanks for fast response.
