Don't recalibrate smart radiator thermostats at night
I think I'm slowly getting used to the sound of the radiator valves turning on in the morning. But in the middle of last night I was woken up by the one in the bedroom doing a full on/off cycle - presumably a recalibration? Maybe following an update? I could hear other valves in the house doing a full cycle afterwards, too.
It would be nice if this only happened during the day!

@14spc I had this happen too last night, and believe I figured out what it was. There was no firmware update, but it happened at the exact moment the clocks went back, so my suspicion is that it was related to that, which then triggers a recalibration or at the very least an adjustment as the times all update.
As a consequence I think it's safe to assume this won't happen again randomly during the night… well until March…

Ah, clocks going back makes sense! Still, I would prefer not to be woken up twice a year unnecessarily…0
