Plastic sensor too prominent

I have 8 x Tado valves working well in my house. Unfortunately it seems that an additional vale I wanted to add has a problem, with the plastic sensor sitting too prominently and not being inside its recess.

Any ideas how to fix this? I’ve tried to push it back and gently rotate the sensor but it doesn’t seem to want to budge

    @culshy Possible options: 1. Take the batteries out. Check that the batteries are OK. Wait a minute before re-inserting the batteries. That should reset the TRV. IIRC, when the TRV resets the pin should retract. BTW, it's not the 'sensor'. 2. I'd suggest returning the 'faulty' TRV to the vendor for replacement.
