Selling Tado V3 starter kit

I’m selling my house and don’t know the new owner (to transfer ownership).
How can I reset the whole V3 system, so that the new owner can register and use it all without my help?

    Hello @AlanRS

Apologies for the late reply. I was double-checking your question with colleagues.

The easiest and most hassle-free solution would be to invite the new owner to your tado° Home and then removing yourself from said Home. Could you potentially leave a note in your old home to get into contact with the new owner?

If the above is not possible, the next best option is to:

    1- Delete your tado° Home
2- Re-pair the devices without your account via the Internet Bridge
3- Leave the devices paired but without an account so the next owner can simply add these paired devices to their Home

As a house buyer who fell foul of a third party home alarm product that asked us for £2,500 to reconnect, I’d suggest you do this through your solicitor and selling agent.

Totally agree. The solicitors should include the handover process in the documents at exchange. Only when you are sure your phone has full control do you agree to complete
