I have 2 Honeywell wired thermostats. I have a boiler and a water tank too.

One thermostat is downstairs the other is upstairs.

I have a tado smart I want to install with the internet bridge.

Can I swap both Honeywell’s for tado smart thermostats and connect them via one internet bridge and then control them via the same tado app or is it more complicated than that?

Yes, you can swap both Honeywell 'stats for Tado wired smart thermostats.

If you also want hot water control, you'll need to change your current time switch for a Tado wireless receiver. I assume you may have a three channel time switch so it's not a straight swap as the Tado receiver is only two channel (CH + HW) but it is still simple to do. You can do this later if you want to first try Tado on your CH only

Yes. With a three-channel CH1/CH2/HW programmer I'd suggets to replace it in one go. Use a wireless starter kit for for the CH1 (upstairs or downstairs room stat) and HW hot water. Plus a wired thermostat for the other CH2 room stat. The wiring is 'usually' straightforward with the supplied Wago connectors to link the CH2 wires together at the programmer end.
