Replacing Therma txq0027

Hi all,
I’ve got a new build property with Therma txq0027, multi-room. Ch1 whole house, ch2 just does lounge, which is pointless, + hot water.
The wiring looks identical to fit the Tado receiver (-ch2).
I’ve order a wired and wireless controller - have ch1 / ch2 linked + hw connected to receiver.
Hw is working correctly.
Ch1 is on the wireless stat, ch2 on wired stat. Seems that only ch2 heating is actually working. Would this be that linking the two channels together is turning off the valve when ch2 heating reaches its temperature?
Would I need to replace the wireless stat with another wired?
Wondered if joining ch2 to direct Live on the receiver would bypass valve issue - ch2 would be always open??

  • Figured it out. For all in future. IGNORE app instructions, they are wrong. Follow guide for Professionals in the box.
You’ll need to join the Live and NO wires from old thermostat together (app states to split them!)
