Battery dimensions and the TRVs
After growing tired of the ongoing expense of replacing batteries in TRVs (wouldn’t be surprised if the cost of batteries is equal to or greater than any perceived cost of energy usage) I invested in Duracell rechargeables, only to find they get stuck inside the TRVs and it needs needle nose pliers to get them out risking damage to the battery itself and the TRV. Are all NiMH batteries tye same and a fraction of a mm fatter than standard AAs? Has anyone found any that aren’t and better fit the tado TRVs?

The recommended Panasonic eneloop rechargeable batteries fit easily. We use the standard 1900mAh version.
