Tado app won’t control Hot Water relay

I have a new v3 receiver with Internet bridge and wireless thermostat which I have tried to test prior to installation. I have applied power to the receiver but no other wiring connected.

The devices are successfully paired to the bridge, connected to the internet. The app is installed on both an android phone and an iOS tablet with both the receiver and the wireless thermostat successfully registered.

The app reads the temperature from the wireless room stat OK and the app can switch on/off the CH, but won’t remotely switch the HW relay. Both the CH and the HW relays work successfully using the override button on the receiver.

Any ideas please - or is the receiver faulty?

    Further update: I contacted tado who fixed this remotely. They said that it wasn’t anything I’d done - the HW User Interface wasn’t enabled on this controller.
