Why does one SmartRV drop out?

I have had Tado working fine since the beginning of October but every now and then and sometimes twice in the same day one tado SRV disconnects from the app. I remove it, remove the batteries and reinstall and connect again and all is well until the next time.

    Very low power RF I’m afraid. As we all keep saying a repeater needs adding to tado’s portfolio of products . . .

    Thanks hugbilly, you made me think. I had thought that maybe the STRV was faulty, after all I’d noticed that Tado are selling refurbished.

    We live in a 3 bed bungalow so it should not be a challenge for the bridge.

    The bridge now sits on the top shelf of a tall bookshelf in a middle room and that seems to have cured the problem.

    As Hugbilly says, sometimes a trv connection will drop out. Placing the dongle centrally, towards the ceiling, may help.
