Bridging old wired thermostat causes a short circuit
Installing the V3+ Wireless Receiver and Thermostat.
A suggestion from elsewhere suggested that I leave the existing wired thermostat in place but leave it on full, hence allowing the new setup to control the boiler. However this blows a fuse.
So, I followed the instructions bridging the old thermostat but this also blows a fuse - I guess because it does the same thing as turning the thermostat to max.
Am i doing something wrong, or are the instructions incorrect/inadequate?
