Why does Internet Bridge "Pairing" status show incorrectly in iOS Tado App?

My Internet Bridge is in pairing mode, confirmed by blinking LED on the bridge, but the iOS app shows "Pairing Inactive" by the joined circles below the bridge details.

At the bottom of that iOS page however, it says "Deactivate Pairing" which agrees with the status LED on the bridge itself.

Tapping "Deactivate Pairing" does indeed do that, with the LED on the bridge going out.

This bug appears to have been present for a long time - anyone understand why?

    Yes, I queried that with Tado and it was confirmed that at present the display operates in that fashion
