Minimise Boiler Running
I have smart radiator valves in every room. However I have found that individual rooms heat and cool at different rates, which can lead to the boiler running more often. Eg. Room A cools and demands heating but Room B isn’t yet cool enough to demand but is cooling down. Room A warms up and cuts off and the a short time after Room be demands heating and runs the boiler again. If there was more communication between the rooms then in this example Room B could have been opened when Room A was heating, meaning the boiler wouldn’t be switched on a second time.

Just make some of the less important rooms independent so they can't call for heat. Otherwise, tado is stupid and can have the boiler on far too much.1
