V3 Internet Bridge - No Subscription?

Hello,

I'd like to confirm if the option is still available... to use a legacy V3 internet bridge to remove the requirement for a subscription.

I assume the reason being because V3 did not have a subscription fee at point of sale and therefore the fee can't be applied (unlike the V3+)

In other words, if I purchased a legacy V3 internet bridge, will I be free from subscription?

Noticed a post on another from suggesting that TADO had stopped this but unable to find any evidence on it.

    I helped a friend set up his Tado last winter with a V2 bridge, and this did give him free Auto Assist. Haven't checked more recently, nor with a V3 bridge, but I suspect there's a good chance it will work. Probably worth trying to source a bridge first before spending too much on the remaining items
