Tado receiver stopping request for heat too early

Hi everyone,

I'm new to Tado but generally enjoying it so far.

One issue I've noticed is that the receiver seems to be stopping requests for heat from the boiler before one or more rooms are near temperature.

I had wondered whether this was intentional, and that the system is designed to call for heat in waves, but I'm not convinced it is that... when the same thing happened yesterday I left it alone for a few hours whilst the rooms got steadily colder, but the request for heat never kicked back in.

I can temporarily resolve it by tapping the Test button the receiver, or by picking a room that's not currently scheduled for heat and manually overriding it. However, when I then switch this room back to schedule, the same thing often happens (the request for heat stops and the rooms I actually want heating start going cold).

I'm using the V3+ kit with:

  • 1 x wireless thermostat to control downstairs radiators (all in open position)
  • 4 x smart TRVs in various rooms upstairs

Any help or insight would be really appreciated.
