Smart V2 Sytem does not control the combi boiler when scheduled (random)

Options

Heating programmed to come on at certain times of the day - set via smart schedule. On random occasions the heating will not come on. App shows the schedule is active but no bars shown to indicate boiler is active.

If I then look at the settings and set the target temperature 0.5 degrees higher within a few seconds the boiler switches on. Can then resume the schedule and all is okay for a day or two. Then it may happen again.

Less often it fails to switch off and have to press the turn off all rooms to switch the heating off.

Not good to wake up in the middle of the night to see if the schedule is active.

Up until recently could rely on the smart schedule (last 5 weeks) to work as it should.

Any Ideas

Tado is a PID learning heating system. If it thinks the ambient temperature in your house will get to target temperature without turning the boiler on, it won’t turn it on. If it sees the temperature dropping quickly, as often happens in cold weather, it will leave the boiler on for longer.
