Help replacing Honeywell T3 with wiring Tado thermostats on Baxi Assure 36 combi boiler
hi there, I have a Baxi Assure 36 combi boiler and 2x wired Honeywell T3 thermostats.
I am attempting to replace the T3s with two Tado wired thermostats (I checked with them first for compatibility).
The T3 were simply installed with two wires on A and B, like so:
So am I right thinking I need to wire Tado like so? On A and +?
If that's of any help this is the boiler wiring (which I didn't touch):
Thanks

You should have got instructions from Tado. You can also Google ‘Tado wired thermostat manual’. Don’t wire anything to the low voltage connections to the right of the thermostat unless you want to destroy it.
Look at the diagram in the Honeywell thermostat. A is l, b is com. Follow the instructions in the tado manual for 230v relay. A to NO and b to com.1 -
That’s what I was a bit worried about… now it makes sense, thank you kind stranger :)0

Just realised I got the connections the wrong way round. Should still be ok but actually l (a) goes to com, b goes to no.0

well it hasn't exploded so far so that's a good sign, but I'll change it then...

Shouldn’t make a difference but you might as well follow the diagram.0
