Will modulation work?

Options
Hi all. I have been interested in getting tado for a while but have held off as I was having a new boiler installed which has now been completed. I have just had a Worcester Greenstar 4000 25kw combi NG installed so need some advice on whether or not the tado products can offer modulation on this boiler so that it can adjust everything automatically. If so which products are required? The combi supplies heating and hot water to the property and there is no hot water cylinder anymore as i have had it removed. Many thanks

I would seriously consider the operation of your new boiler before (possibly) wasting extra financial outlay on a tado system with well known issues regarding its service linitations. I'm assuming that you have read many of the threads in the Community Forum.
My advice would be to continue with your new boiler system over this winter period to fully evaluate your future requirements.

Hi I'm in the exact same situation (except Greenstar 8000). From this thread that is occasionally linked (https://twitter.com/tado/status/1584453780413612035?lang=en) it looks like either the Wired Thermostat (In UK) or the special "professional" version (tweet 8/9) support modulation. But whether that works with the Worcester Greenstar is another question - I've not seen a single report of someone who's successfully managed to get it working with that class of boilder in the UK, but would like to know if so. I'd be happy to get an engineer to fit (if it's a complicated job).

There are professional manuals here that suggest Worcester/Bosch support digital connections/but again I'm out of my depth! https://www.tado.com/all-en/professional-manuals
