Thermostat stuck on downloading firmware

No meaningful solution from Tado other than change batteries and restart.

upping the temp on the app does not put the heating on as the command is not getting to the thermostat.

been like this 4 days.

I have unplugged the bridge and reconnected and taken the thermostat nearer the bridge.


any ideas on a fix

    Seems over last week had same issue... Device disconnected over a week ago while away on holidays. Returned and replaced batteries but this morning same issue it was disconnected. Reset device and it flashed up the firmware icon shown in your photo. Had some issues but seems to be working again but worried about stability now
