Wiring Sanity Check
Hi!
My house has two heating zones, upstairs and downstairs, and a combo boiler so there is no hot water control.
I'm replacing the existing in room thermostat with a Tado wired thermostat. The existing wiring looks like
I was going to wire the Tado wired thermostat as:
Old -> New
- N -> P1
- L -> COM
- NO1 -> NO
- Strip back the ground cable -> P2
- Remove the bridge between L and COM
Does that sound sensible to the experts here?
Thanks for any help!

Have you received instructions from Tado through the app? That sounds reasonable but best to follow what it says.0

The app just kept telling me the existing install was a programmer, therefore couldn't be replaced by the wired thermostat I'd bought. Whilst is strictly true, as what I had could control hot water / act as a programmer, it wasn't in my case - but the app refused to help me beyond that.
I just held my breath and took the plunge, and all seems well, both thermostats controlling their respective zones happily!
Hope this can help someone else in a new build with a Danfoss TPOne-M
