Replacing my Honeywell ST699 with Starter Kit V3+ prog and hot water

Options

Hi, i have a very temperamental ST699 that i would like to convert to the above TADO V3+ system, the boiler is a very old Netaheat Profile

This is the ST699 backbox, basically crumbled on removal of the front, i have a new backplates etc so no issue.

Does anyone know if the TADO V3+ system is compatible with this, any help or information regarding installation would be really helpful.

Yes, that's compatible with the UK variant of the wireless receiver. The terminal naming is the same so should be easy to transfer the wires over. An interesting choice of wire colours though...

This should be ok with Tado. The ST699 is a simple CH and DHW timer for S or Y plan. I’ve previously replaced this with a more modern timer/programmer in a family home. The Potterton Netaheat is rather old now, models dating from the late 70s and early 80s, about 68% efficient. A new condensing boiler should save around £400-500 a year at current energy prices.
