The stand is a good shout. The installer attached the wireless temperature sensor to the wall using the adhesive pads on the back. I was wondering how easy it is to remove from the wall?

We are looking to move a wireless temperature sensor which has been attached to wall with the adhesive pads.

Remove the adhesive strips? You can just get a stand for the temperature sensor.

If you don't have smart TRVs then you can simply put the sensor in any room.0

Remove the wireless stat from the backplate and carefully cut through the adhesive pads behind the backplate using a sharp thin decorators knife. E.g https://www.screwfix.com/p/no-nonsense-dual-moulded-stripping-knife-3-/19995
