Delay on start-up

Newbie and just installed a thermostat and extender, When I turn the heating on either via the app or via an echo the system takes around 90 seconds to execute the command and turn the boiler on. I am using the latest version of the app and on the latest firmware (that I am aware of) Am I doing anything wrong. Just thought that the system would react faster.

Also, the wireless coverage is fine through the house.

  • Normally, commands are executed within 30 seconds, but 90 seconds seems to be within the normal scope of operation. Please note that sending many commands in quick succession will slow down each following command. This is done to reduce the amount of relay clicks which is a safety feature to not cause harm to your boiler.

  • Thanks for the response, I am only sending one instruction, to turn on, nothing else and it consistently takes approx 90seconds for the boiler to kick in. This is whether it is done from the thermostat or the app. Not sure how to reduce the latency.
