Valliant - no hot water without heating using ebus

Options

Hi ,

I've had a Tado installed with wireless extender following the Tado Valliant ebus settings. As its hotter the central heating has been configured not to turn on. Since then I have noticed that the hot water doesn't seem to be working unless the heating is also working.

Could you help me figure out what is causing this? I have a main boiler (Valliant) and separate a hot water cylinder.

If I reprogram the wireless thermostat the hot water turns on until schedule ends and does not start again on the next schedule window.

Thank you in advance,

Martin

It is my understanding that you cannot have seperate control of the hot water via eBUS unless it's a combi boiler or that you use an older Vailant wiring harness (VR65). The relay mode cannot be used within the extension kit (which is the most common way of wiring the hot water tank in the UK).

Did you ever get this resolved?
