Hi there,

I'm hoping for some help installing the Tado TRV onto radiators with very old Pelger Terrier valves.

I've tried a number of different fittings without luck. These valves are based on manual turning, rather than pressure, and so I suspect won't be compatible at all, but would love to hear from anyone who has had success with them.

Attached is a photo of the manual valve. Any ideas?

    Definitely not compatible. You will have to change the manual valve for a TRV valve before you can attach the Tado thermostat on top.
