New boiler and heating system
I am in the ideal position of installing a brand new heating system as part of a major house rebuild.
As we have a large house for just 2 people zone control is critical hence why I want to use Tado TRVs. Also I plan to use a low temperature radiator system with weather compensation and I also want to integrate boiler modulation.
Tado tell me that they have discontinued Open Therm boiler control and only now offer on/off boiler control in the UK. This seems like a backwards step but there are currently stocks of old Extension units that have digital control that are still available.
Please can anyone offer any suggestions as to what make of boiler works best with Tado for modulating control? The manufacturers that I’ve spoken to all want to sell their own proprietary systems!
Any other tips would also be appreciated.

Viessmann UK actively promote Tado devices. You may have more luck discussing your requirements with their technical team.

+1 on the Viessmann combi. I think I read that they modulate down to an impressive 1kw which would suit low temperature zonal heating0

Looks like the minimum output on the Viessmann Vitodens 200 is 1.9kw
