Is tado° battery powered?
Could you confirm whether the smart thermostat is battery powered or needs to be wired? The problem I have is that I only have two wires connected to my current room thermostat.

Hi! The Smart Thermostat is battery powered, which means it is compatible with almost any heating system (be it 2 or 3 wires, 230V or low voltage).
When you go to my.tado.com, you can enter the make and model of your old thermostat and you will get customised installation instructions.
