can I just buy one Tado radiator thermostat to see if I like it, or do i need to buy the starter kit

You can buy them separately if you can take advantage of any bargains on eBay etc.

Just confirm the bridge hasn’t been used or if it has they have contacted Tado to clear the previous registration of the bridge.
