Manual mode when not connected to internet
I have a radiator thermostat that does not work in manual mode if it is not connected to the internet. Is this right, I would have thought the whole pint was to have control locally if everything else fails so at least I can have some heat from my radiator, all I can do is remove the stat and have it on full bore.

are you sure that when there is no internet you can not have heating?

yes, no internet connection and the valve will not control in manual, the mode does not work, only option is to remove TRV and have full heat. It appears to preset as if it’s a manual over ride set point only for the TRV when connected to the bridge. No bridge connection = no control, even manual control. I expected it to work as a stand alone TRV when not connected to bridge, but that does not appear to be the case.
