Tado not turning the heating off

I’ve had the Tado for nearly 2 years and not had any problems with it, yet tonight and the Monday night just gone the app would not turn the heating off. It’s ridiculously hot and goes beyond the 25 degrees! It was fine last night and only when I reset the thermostat does it finally turn off. When we have had this issue it displays the configuration download display. What’s happening?
