Tado extension kit dropping connection every 10 minutes

Hi All,

Installed the Tado starter kit a couple of days ago.

This includes the extension kit, smart thermostat and internet bridge.

The extension kit came with firmware 31.13 and I’ve asked Tado to update this to 64.6 as per another thread in order to use the bus system on the Vailliant 838 however my extension kit is dropping connection every 20 minutes or so and the only way to connect the extension kit and the internet bridge again is by restarting them both. Ive moved the internet bridge as close as possible to the extension kit, even tried the same room and the connection is still dropping meaning that the firmware update can’t download / complete.

I have the smart thermostat about 15 metres away and the connection has not dropped once.

This leads me to believe that I must have a faulty extension kit and I need a replacement?

Has anyone else had any issues like this? Tado support is so slow to respond and out heating has been unusable for the past 4 days.
