Thermostat in kitchen, not ideal ??

I have a Zanussi combination boiler mounted in my kitchen, I have wired a thermostat next to it,
not ideal with cooking etc.
Is it possible to wire a extension kit too the boiler, and move the thermostat to a more suitable room ??
I have been informed the Zanussi boiler has the insides of a ideal boiler ??
