Replacing Tado

Tado tech support seem to have given up and are suggesting I return it for a refund as the valves just can't keep reception with the bridge and it's messing around with my boiler. Does anyone have any experience of other systems? I remember doing so much research before I bought Tado and I more have to do that all over again. Drayton Wiser seems to be perfect, it has range extenders and will work offline (via your phone) but it's not compatible with underfloor heating. Does that leave just evohome as an alternative?
