Away mode v leaving heating on all day
Hello fellow Tado users.
I have recently purchased more smart radiator thermostats.
What I want to know is if it’s better to use the away mode for when we are out of the house, or to leave the heating on all day.
I guess with the away mode the boiler will need to work harder when we do turn the heating on, whereas leaving it on all day will mean the boiler works less hard but is constantly working.
In terms of costs, which is better? Has anyone experimented with this before?

Thanks for your response.
So maybe the answer is to set a minimum temperature in the house when we are out, so it doesn’t drop too low. Then when we are home, heating it up normally...0
