tado service going down, heating coming on

iirc Tado & others go dumb without the net & default to heat.
i think vsmart still retains its schedules.

yep, I've had this a few times now - drives be batty !
Tado support - can you / do you publish when you have service outages?
It may help corelate when the boiler randomly fires up with any service outage.
What I cannot get my head around is why it would be designed to do this... My smart thermostats are all off, the hot water is off yet the boiler decides to fire up and heat, errm - nothing. It looks as though too that when this happens, the 3-way valve goes into a hissy fit and I'm concerned that it is doing damage.

The status of all the Tado services can be found at this web site plus you have the option to subscribe to updates so you can get an e-mail whenever there is an outage/degradation to a service or when there is a planned maintenance.

Thanks for the link!
Whilst it is good to see that there are very few outages, unfortunately it does not corelate with my boiler randomly coming on...
There is a an issue here I think. The boiler is being told to come on at random times but no radiator is calling for heat. The three-way valve is chuntering away, trying to switch priority between heating and hot-water and failing to do so. This causes the boiler to kettle as the heat has nowhere to go.
Are there any analytics available to download or query? Tado must gather them, I would assume, so exposing them via an api is simple enough.
(pretty new to the Tado system so I appreciate I may be barking up the wrong tree)

I don't believe that there are any analytics that you can download so you will probably have to contact support.

Unfortunately this is the main negative with Tado. It has happened to me a few times in the 11 months I have had Tado.
Hive works off line and you can even program your schedule via the thermostat so no issues with heating coming on or staying on if your internet drops. I often regret investing in Tado.
