If I only hear half the radiators in my home am I going to pay less heating g cost than if I were to heat the whole house?

I am not sure this is the appropriate venue for this question.

However it would seem that if you were to use less radiators to heat only half of a house, this would indeed cost less in heating,

As an alternative if those rooms you dont want to heat already have un-smart TRV, you could try leaving them on set to a low temperature. They will then come on whenever your smart system calls for heat.
