Role of smart thermostat? Does the temp setting on it override the radiator thermostat setting?
Hi,
A basic question. If I have a setup with smart thermostat and couple of smart radiator thermostats. How does setting the temperature on the smart thermostat work
if the smart Thermostat is set to 18 deg
smart trv 1 to 20 deg
smart trv 2 to 16..
What would happen ..? would it trigger the boiler to satisfy TRV 1 or stop the boiler as the thermostat is set to 18 (once it reaches 18)?

@pradeeproark Contact support who are the only people who can change primacy i.e. you can have all devices having the ability to call for heat OR they only get heat when the smart thermostat is, itself calling for heat.

“Primacy” .. interesting . I thought it would be something you can configure in the app itself. I would prefer that any radiator TRV can call for heat. But it begs question why would one need a smart thermostat at all. Leave the existing thermostat and just get individual radiator thermostats...?0

The app is very feature light, there should be the option to put the rads into zones with thermostats, see the Philips Hue app for how this could/should be done. When contacting support, who in my experience have been able to sort very quickly, they have access to these settings
